Course Description
This course is designed to help students to grade level readiness. Students will work on mastering their multiplication and division facts. Students will work on both grade level learning experiences as well as content from previous grades and elementary school. Throughout this course, students will persevere in problem solving, engage in mathematical arguments, model mathematics, communicate with precision, discern patterns and structures, and analyze the whole situation and work with the details.Key Course Learning Experiences

Students are able to show multiplication/ division fact fluency

Students are able to show responsibility by working independently and using feedback given as a guide for learning and growth.
3. Critical Thinking (40%)
Students will participate in small group discussions on grade level math content.
Major Assessments and Success Criteria
Students will engage in summative and formative assessments employing the Essential Learning Goals. Through a process of reflection and revision, students will work towards mastery of his/her learning. Assessments will be geared towards checking math fact fluency and grade level content proficiency.
